Job Summary:

We are seeking a well-rounded and motivated ServiceNow ITAM Developer to join our dynamic team. As a ServiceNow technical expert, you will play a pivotal technical leadership role in successfully deploying and supporting ServiceNow Software and Hardware Asset Management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with IT Asset Management Process Owner and other key stakeholders to configure and implement ServiceNow Asset Management - SAM Pro, HAM Pro - applications to meet specific business requirements. This individual needs to have a solution-driven mindset to best work through the deliverables around the needs of the organization. Excellent communication and documentation skills are extremely important. This is a key member of ServiceNow Platform Delivery and Services team.

Required Skillset/Experience:

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience with the implementation, administration and support of ServiceNow IT Service Management and IT Asset Management HAM and SAM is required.

  • Desirable to have implementation/support of Flexera data management platform and integration with ServiceNow CMDB/Asset Management

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including creating custom applications, modules and workflows

  • Understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables and relationships

  • Hands-on technical experience with the implementation of HAM and SAM

  • Deep functional and technical understanding of ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management

  • Understanding of IT hardware and software asset lifecycle management

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow orchestration for automating IT processes

  • Experience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, Flow Designer, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules

  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular.js, Perl, Powershell

  • Good understanding of ServiceNow CMDB

  • Experience implementing REST API integration with third party tools

  • Understanding of security best practices within ServiceNow, access controls, roles and permissions

  • Ability to create custom reports, dashboards and visualizations

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics

  • Experience with backend SQL Server development is preferred

  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical subject-matter-expert for ServiceNow IT Hardware and Software Asset Management

  • Take ownership and collaborate with IT Asset Management process/function owners and SMEs across IT to implement and enhance capabilities

  • Lead the requirements and design workshops, and implementation

  • Design, develop, test implement and support ServiceNow IT Asset Management capabilities

  • Analyze existing processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, consolidation, and enhancement

  • Engage in day-to-day operational support and continuous capability improvement

  • Engage in on call support as needed

  • Maintain adequate operational documentation and reporting

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $139K - $168K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
