Principal Device Design & Integration Engineer

Job Description

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Principal Device Design & Integration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Device Design & Integration group, you will play a critical role in the design and integration of advanced semiconductor devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet the requirements of our customers and industry standards.

• Lead engineer primarily responsible for driving MOSFET/power process development, design rule definition, device architecture, electrical characterization, and technology qualification.

• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and design methodologies to improve product performance and reduce time-to-market.

• Develop process flows and process modules for discrete and hybrid technologies.

• Design test structures for process integration and process module development.

• Drive process and device optimization to meet technology requirements.

• Facilitate process improvements and/or fixes for problems of poor reliability or low yield.

• Work closely with device engineering, manufacturing teams and backend engineering teams to ensure successful product development and production ramp-up.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and expertise to support their professional development.

• Participate in design reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in electrical engineering or related field.

• 12+ years of experience in semiconductor process technology and integration.

• Proven track record in developing BCD/Power MOSFET process flows.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
