GAM: Fluid Technician

This role is with KBR’s GAM, Global Asset Management group. At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management​.

The Fluid Technician will:

  • Add, remove, and replenish all production-related fluids or lubricants.

  • Gather and properly dispose of metal chips and/or scraps.

  • Use hand tools safely and appropriately.

  • Perform routine maintenance as required.

  • Take direction from management supervision and Maintenance Leads.

  • Work collaboratively with mechanics and production personnel.

  • Assist team members with a wide variety of projects and tasks.

  • Complete and review records.

  • Maintain tools and equipment and maintain a clean work environment.

  • Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • On occasion be required to weekend and after-hours assignments.


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and 2 or more years of work experience in an industrial setting.

  • Must be computer literate and able to us the MS Office Suite.

  • Must possess good interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.

  • Attention to detail is essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude toward troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.
