JPMorgan Chase Full Balance Charge-Off: Recovery Collections Specialist III (Tempe AZ) in Tempe, Arizona

As an Auto Recovery Collections Specialist, you will leverage your excellent communication and negotiation skills to achieve the best outcomes for our customers. In this fast-paced call center environment, you will take ownership of each customer interaction, demonstrating empathy and respect. This role requires you to work both independently and as part of a team, adhering to all applicable regulatory and departmental practices and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate in a call center environment that requires phone-based interaction.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills while staying engaged with our customers.

  • Communicate with customers in a metrics-driven environment.

  • Collaborate effectively with a network of internal departments that provide various support functions.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely resolution of customer-related matters.

  • Work in tandem with third-party vendors to establish contact with customers and/or secure collateral.

  • Utilize negotiation skills to obtain payoffs, settlements, or acceptable arrangements of account balances based on an understanding of customer financial status.

  • Use an automatic dialing system to reach customers.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned due to business needs.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Previous auto experience is helpful.

  • Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment driven by customer contact.

  • Basic skip tracing experience is strongly preferred.

  • 1 years of collection experience is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to work overtime as required.

Work Schedule:

Candidates must reside in the state of Arizona and be willing and able to work a hybrid work schedule. Specific schedule information will be provided by the Recruiter.
