Customer Service Representative - Mortgage industry

Job Description

We are excited to announce remote opportunities for Customer Service Representatives across the United States.

This role requires flexibility for any 8-hour shift from 5am-8pm PST (8am-11pm EST).

As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle customer service inquiries and problems, primarily through inbound calls on specific mortgage campaigns, with occasional outbound calls as needed.

You will work on various campaigns such as refinances, home equities, insurance, home warranties, and security systems in a scripted environment.

Your primary task will be to engage with existing borrowers and determine their interest in specific products, then transfer them to a sales representative for further processing.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Any kind of sales, upselling experience which could either be in person or over the phones is preferred

• 1-2+ years of outbound customer service or call center experience is highly preferred - in addition to the sales/upselling experience

• Must be open to occasional outbound calls, but primarily inbound calls (they do have inbound agents and outbound agents)

• Open to candidates in Mortgage, Banking, Financial, Warm/Cold Calling, Telemarketing, Surveys, etc.

• No previous or active real estate licenses or NMLS loan licenses are allowed, cannot work here due to conflict of interest

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

  • Long-term contracts: 6 months to 1 year with potential for extensions

  • 100% remote with equipment provided

  • Call center operates from 5am-8pm PST (8am-11pm EST)

  • Flexible shifts based on business needs. Candidates open to all shifts will have a higher chance of being hired

  • Possible Saturday shifts, potentially half days, one Saturday a month

Shifts:

1: 5am-2pm PST (8am-5pm EST)

2: 6am-3pm PST (9am-6pm EST)

3: 8am-5pm PST (11am-8pm EST)

4: 11am-8pm PST (2pm-11pm EST)

Training:

  • 3 weeks of training Monday-Friday

  • Hours typically 6am-3pm PST (9am-6pm EST) or 8am-4pm PST (11am-7pm EST)

Outbound Agent Shift:

  • 10am-7pm EST
