Job Title: Principal Business Process Improvement Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will plan, perform, and implement process improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma, on equipment and process development business processes. This role involves diagramming and evaluating existing processes, organizing and leading cross-functional project teams, developing metrics for process measurement, and creating dashboards for monitoring and improving KPIs. The candidate will also collect data to identify root causes of problems, measure performance against process requirements, and deliver presentations and training courses.
Responsibilities
Plan, perform, and implement process improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma on equipment and process development business processes.
Diagram and evaluate existing processes including inputs, outputs, and stakeholders.
Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project teams to define and organize business processes and metrics.
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement and identify indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Create dashboards for monitoring and improving KPIs.
Collect data to identify root causes of problems.
Measure performance against process requirements.
Deliver presentations and training courses on business process elements and best practices.
Survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes.
Communicate team progress to stakeholders.
Deliver and manage assigned projects and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
Act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of lower-level professionals.
Deliver and oversee projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies.
Essential Skills
Mastery of a specialty area in process improvement and full knowledge of industry practices.
Lean Six Sigma certification.
Proficiency in PowerBI, flowcharting, and Visio.
Experience in business process mapping, analytics dashboards, and automated workflows.
Manufacturing process engineering and development.
Operational excellence.
Advanced knowledge of project management.
University degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to develop solutions to moderately complex problems and implement them.
Experience in coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level specialists.
Strong communication skills to represent the organization as a primary contact for specific projects.
Capability to negotiate and influence decision-making.
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid structure requiring a minimum of 4 days on-site. The work involves managing large projects or processes with considerable autonomy and interacting with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels. The environment fosters innovation and complexity, requiring detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation to develop and implement solutions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.00/hr.
