KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services (https://tax.kpmg.us/services/accounting-methods-credits.html) practice.
Understand different software development methods and train peers on the technical nuances of software development
Lead interviews with the computer science personnel to discover information that represents research and development activities
Translate technical software development activities into IRC * 41 & IRC * 199 definitions for qualified research and development
Team with a group of engineers to develop operational solutions for a service industry practice
Work autonomously to design, code, test, document and debug programs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define operational opportunities for improvement
Minimum one year of recent full-time industry experience in product management, technology sales or technology consulting experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Proficient in Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server (expertise is stored procedures and user defined functions) and database structures
Knowledge of web server infrastructure, database performance tuning and programing in HTML Familiarity of Microsoft Server 2008 r2 and later
Experience documenting software development projects and developing web based real time data collection applications
Ability to travel and work at client locations
