Telluride Regional Medical Center is seeking to hire a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (PA/ NP)
The Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) will support our comprehensive primary care service. Under the general direction of the Medical Director of Primary Care, the APP will perform tasks, treat patients, and develop/ monitor/ follow up on treatment plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ev aluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses, including major and complicated.
Provide preventive and therapeutic care for patients of all ages. This includes preventive care, acute care, prenatal care, care of injured persons, and management of chronic illnesses.
Order, administer, and/or follow up on diagnostic tests
Prescribe, recommend, and regulate appropriate medication(s)
Perform procedures based on training and as approved thru the privileging/ credentialing process.
Collaborate with the care team and seek assistance or make referral when needed and appropriate.
Document medical record and coding information accurately and timely.
Participate in Quality Improvement efforts.
Complete continuing education and other related requirements.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
Degree from an accredited program.
Professional licensure - Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) required.
Two years of experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner preferred.
Current Colorado license in good standing.
Valid DEA Drug License.
Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
Must have thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of primary care medicine.

This position is a salaried/exempt position.
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience.
