Occupational Health Nurse (Internship)
Intern assists in providing general patient care, manage medical records, and schedule and complete health screenings. This intern will also assist with evaluating/updating the silica spreadsheet for incoming equipment and review new data from air monitoring.
Maintain employee medical files and records
Assist with stocking and ordering of supplies
Coordinate and/or administer annual health testing; respiratory questionnaire; PFT; vision test, hearing test; vital signs; and follow up on hearing losses
Comply with OSHA regulations
Be able to participate in monthly safety, health services and emergency responder meetings.
Work with the company on compliance regulations and laws affecting the workplace:
Evaluate/update the silica spreadsheet.
Review new data from air monitoring.

Current CPR/AED certification
Currently enrolled in a LPN/RN nursing program
Be enrolled in post-high school education for the Fall 2023 semester
Minimum of 1 completed year in related field (preferred)
Be considered a full-time student (12 credits or more)
Be 18 years old or older
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Intermediate computer skills are preferred
Must be detail oriented, have ability to multitask and possess great interpersonal skills
