Job Description Summary

Responsible for helping a Scrum team implement and follow the Scrum framework. This involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing obstacles, and ensuring the team meets their goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Remove obstacles :Identify and manage risks, and help the team overcome internal and external roadblocks

• Promote collaboration :Encourage teamwork and cross-functional skills, and help the team maximize their individual talents

• Ensure adherence to Scrum principles :Help the team understand and follow Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines

• Monitor progress :Create and maintain project timelines, and report on developments

• Coach the team :Help the team improve their processes and practices, and recognize areas for improvement

• Work with stakeholders :Collaborate with the product owner, development team, and other stakeholders to drive decision making

• Contribute to Agile practices :Help improve Agile practices within the organization

Education Qualification

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with strong academic credentials.

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in test automation

Technical expertise :

• Has a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructure needed to run a large distributed web application

• Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks

• Has the ability to make basic technology choices based on experience

• Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry

Business acumen:

• Has the ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary

• Voices opinions and presents clear rationale. Uses data or factual evidence to influence

• Recognizes collaborative behavior and participates in collaborative activities

• Able to understand how team and personal goals/objectives contribute to the organization vision

• Demonstrates the ability to help team members

• Seeks to understand problems thoroughly before implementing solutions. Asks questions to clarify requirements when ambiguities are present

• Identifies opportunities for innovation and offers new ideas. Takes the initiative to experiment with new software frameworks

• Adapts to new environments and changing requirements. Pivots quickly as needed. When coached, responds to need & seeks info from other sources
