As a Cloud Technical Expert, you will be a pivotal member of our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms and services to support our organization's cloud infrastructure and projects. This role requires a strong foundation in cloud architecture, hands-on experience with cloud technologies, and the ability to provide expert guidance and support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture and Design:

• Design scalable and secure cloud architectures that meet business requirements and align with best practices for reliability, availability, and performance.

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services, tools, and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) based on project needs and organizational goals.

• Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to guide implementation and ensure adherence to standards.

Implementation and Integration:

• Lead the implementation and configuration of cloud solutions, ensuring smooth deployment and integration with existing systems and applications.

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for cloud environments, leveraging platform-as-a-service (PaaS) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offerings.

• Automate provisioning, deployment, and management tasks using cloud orchestration and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud technologies, providing technical guidance and support to resolve complex issues and performance bottlenecks.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, security, and capacity, implementing proactive measures to optimize resource utilization and cost-efficiency.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance controls within cloud environments, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring data protection.

• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans, recommending and implementing remediation measures as necessary.

• Stay informed about emerging threats and industry trends in cloud security, applying knowledge to enhance organizational security posture.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

• Provide mentorship and training to junior team members on cloud technologies, architecture principles, and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and promote adoption of cloud-native solutions and DevOps practices.

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, guides, and training materials for internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred.

• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud solutions in enterprise environments.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with hands-on experience in cloud architecture, networking, security, and storage.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
