AWS is rapidly expanding out our remote sales function to drive growth across a small set of AWS’ largest, most complex and mature existing customers as well as the highest priority acquisition targets in the Enterprise Segment. As an Account Executive at AWS, you are responsible for exercising complex account management/acquisition skills, helping to grow consumption of current and net new AWS services. In this full sales cycle quota carrying role, you will use your sales and technical experience to work proactively with our customers to accelerate their journey to the cloud.

In order to harness the innovation and scale of services AWS offers, you will leverage internal resources to engage with our customers to execute their strategic objectives in order to adapt to changing market trends.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

The AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with startup companies as they build and scale their businesses. We’re here to make sure that they can deploy the best, most scalable, and most secure architectures possible – and that they spend as little time and money as possible doing so. We are a group of technologists with varied backgrounds; from fresh graduates to ex-CTOs, all growing our skills and startup expertise, while working on cutting edge technology use-cases with some of the world’s most innovative companies.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in a quota carrying, full sales cycle ownership role

• Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies

• Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and other lines of business

• English language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Technology related sales or business development experience

• Basic knowledge and understanding of existing cloud technologies

• Domain experience with Enterprise

• AWS Certification (or equivalent)

• BA / BS degree
