Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Tool Builder to join our team at our facility in Taylor, MI. As a Machine Tool Builder, you will be responsible for assembling and constructing machine tools according to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Build and tear down CNC spindles
- Working with micrometers
- Assemble machine tool components using hand and power tools
- Perform quality checks to ensure machines meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machine tools
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to make modifications as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Machine Tool Builder or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
