Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. Senior Global Supply Chain Planner in Tarrytown, New York

Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc. seeks a Senior Global Supply Chain Planner to support the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process. Review monthly net requirements with factories and suppliers. Ensure timely placement and accuracy of PO's daily/weekly to move finished goods to the Distribution Centers, paying close attention to inventory and service levels. Use supply chain planning know-how and experience to successfully solve complex problems, such as extreme increases or decreases in demand and supply. Monitor materials at risk of being out of stock and work with Demand and Supply Teams to mitigate risks. Direct accountability for finished goods inventory health in the distribution centers and ensure scrap process is executed per company policies. Collaborate with Business and Regional Sales and Marketing to support global demand forecasting of both baseline statistical volume and unique event-based volume changes, and continuously improve forecast accuracy. Influence and collaborate with Plant Materials Management to support the capacity planning of operational resources (materials, tools, equipment, people) to ensure alignment with demand, proper contingency and surge, and suitable depth of cross-trained talent. Collaborate with Distribution and Logistics to ensure proper planning parameters are applied, execution is monitored, and new requirements are effectively designed into our Supply Chain flow. Collaborate with IT to ensure global visibility and smart reporting of inventory, volume, and key performance metrics. Escalate issues and opportunities for improvement where appropriate. Champion the Healthineers' Performance System as a means to drive continuous improvement, employee engagement, and organizational learning; core methods will include Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream mapping, Structured Problem Solving, Visual Management, and Coaching. Contribute to the continuously improving education platform that provides best practice training in Global Supply Chain Planning. Full-time remote work permitted. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires experience with the following skills: SAP; Data Analytics; Power BI; Demand Forecasting; Statistical Modeling; Supply Chain Optimization; Forecast Accuracy Metrics; Project Management; Change Management; Technology Implementation; Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Distribution; FDA-regulated products and processes. Full-time remote work permitted.

Minimum Salary: 120,175 Maximum Salary: 162,190 Salary Unit: Yearly
