The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas

The role you’ll contribute:

The Nurse Manager supervises, coordinates, and performs patient care delivery on the assigned nursing units and is accountable for meeting standards. These include, but are not limited to customer service, financial management, regulatory compliance, human resource processes, staff competency, performance improvement, policy/procedure development and compliance, and regular communication with department staff. The Manager provides leadership and oversight with all unit functions and patient care issues on a day-to-day basis. Duties and responsibility may occur outside of typical office hours.

· Patient experience data review for performance improvement

· Evaluating patient/employee interaction and coaches’ staff on opportunities to enhance patient satisfaction

· Service recovery and follow-up with employees

· Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Three years’ experience in acute patient care

· Associates degree in Nursing or related field

· Must have at least two years of experience in working in a leadership role

· Registered Nurse with licensure in the State of Florida

· Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

· Certification in area of specialty within two years of accepting position
