Veralto Business Development Manager in Tanggerang, Indonesia

The purpose of this role is to plan and execute sales activities (in Indonesia for our X-Rite business to meet and exceed company targets for sales, market share growth and profitability. Integrate in the SAPAC Sales Organization and Sales Channels network and execute on strategy and plans for a sustainable multiple years double-digit growing sales plan. The position reports to the General Manager South APAC.

Commercial Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling required product mix with pricing guidelines set by the business unit

  • Prepare and present quotations and proposals

  • Negotiate and close on orders for X-Rite product and services

  • Regularly report and communicate to sales management: sales forecasts, order activity, stages of negotiations, pricing levels and competitive information

  • Represents the company on trade shows and on conferences with speeches and presentations.

Continuous Business Growth

  • Developing short and long-term Sales plans

  • Identifying new market opportunities

  • Devising strategies to meet sales objectives

  • Preparing and launching promotional resp. corrective actions​

Sales Channel Management

  • Monitoring existing relationships with re-sellers

  • Monitoring sales performance within the re-seller network

  • Meeting quarterly and annual plans

  • Developing and building strategic relationships within the channel

General Requirements

  • At least 15 20 years of extensive sales and marketing experience with proven, successful track record during that time

  • Technical /Business/economic degree preferable

  • Strong technical background, preferably with an expertise from one of the following areas – paint/textile/automotive/printing/design. A qualification in color critical matters would be appreciated.

  • Proved ability to build long term effective relationships with business partners (distributors, dealers, key accounts, end-users, opinion makers) as well as the proven ability to manage and develop those

  • Excellent negotiations and communication skills, including public speeches, presentations, face-to-face communication

  • Result oriented, open-minded, pro-active, stress-resistant and analytically thinking with distinct planning and organizational skills

  • Able to work independently with only general guidance. Ability to work on its own, but also must be a ‘team worker’

  • Global mindset and readiness to travel.

  • Fluent English in spoken as well as written form

  • Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, desirably also Adobe products)

  • Ability to communicate appropriately and professionally at all levels, both internally and externally

  • Experience of product demonstration to customers at different levels

Position is located in Indonesia. Applicant must possess a valid work permit in the nation. No visa sponsorship available.
