Description

We are offering an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Tampa, Florida. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be called upon to use your analytical skills to review monthly financial results, prepare presentations for management, and develop key performance indicators to support the organization. This job function is crucial in providing leadership with insights into the company’s financial health and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Enhance Financial Models: Create, maintain, and refine complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.

  • In-Depth Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis to assess financial performance and drive key decisions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the organization to offer insights and recommendations that boost revenue, streamline costs, and enhance profitability.

  • Present Financial Insights: Prepare and deliver financial results, trends, and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Lead Budgeting & Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning.

  • Track & Analyze KPIs: Identify and monitor critical KPIs to measure and improve business performance.

  • Ad-Hoc Analysis & Projects: Support various analyses, investment evaluations, and market assessments as needed.

    Requirements

  • Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with an in-depth understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years in financial analysis, strategic finance, or a related role, with a track record of building and maintaining complex financial models.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and big data analytics is a plus.

  • Bonus Experience: Knowledge of financial planning software and D365 systems is an advantage.
