JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Tampa, Florida

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Build business intelligence capabilities leveraging Qlik Sense at an enterprise scale. Improve the end-to-end Risk/Controls posture. Engineer solutions to automate assessment of controls effectiveness across the Technology, Operations and Business landscape. Develop these capabilities within the newly deployed Cloud platform. Drive effective risk & controls management and support the business through identification of control weaknesses and recommendations for improved effectiveness; articulation of the business impact and associated risks; and work on proactive measures to remediate weaknesses. Own the suite of Qlik Sense solutions for internal clients to view, understand & assess overall controls compliance, review control gaps and associated potential risk. Collaborate with multiple internal functional areas such as Operations, Product Owners & Engineering in the areas with risk and control concerns, automation needs and emerge with intuitive dashboard designs. Provide insights into thematic issues and surface control gaps with objective of holistic risk reduction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Senior Application Programmer, Senior Business Intelligence Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Qlikview; Qliksense; Oracle, SQL; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; CSS; Angular; HTML; Excel; and Load Scripting.

Job Location: 10420 Highland Manor Drive, Tampa, FL 33610. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
