The Spring of Tampa Bay Rapid Rehousing Program Manager in Tampa, Florida
Must have the following to apply:
Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required plus one year of related experience
Requires Domestic Violence Core Competency trainingand additional 6-hours (30-hourstotal) to qualify for privilege status
Requires ongoing 16-hours of DV-related training after the first year
Specializedortechnicaleducationalrequirements:
Computer skills, proficiency in MS Office/Windows preferred
Certification or Licensing Requirements:
Requires Domestic Violence Core Competency trainingplus an additional 6 hours of individualized training (30 hours total) to qualify for privilege status; must successfully pass written test
Must be eligible to be sworn in as a Deputy Clerk of the Circuit Court
Demonstrates judgment skills
Ability to work with a culturally diverse community in compliance with standards/values
Knowledge of domestic violence and victim issues, including advocacy activities, statutes, and impact on children
Understands and maintains confidentiality of shelter activities and participants at all times
Transportation required
Required Screenings: Background Checks, Motor Vehicle Record Check.
Job Description: Provides empowerment-based advocacy, safety planning, supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and service management to Rapid Re-Housing participants suffering from domestic violence and/or homeless survivors of domestic violence and referred by shelter, outreach services, or other community partners.Provides information, referrals, and counseling to survivors. Coordinates services with the participants regarding their housing goals.
Provides supervision, support, and guidance to Housing Stability case managers
Assists Director in interviewing and selection of staff for the Rapid Re-housing (RRH) program
Ensures service management and documentation meets FCADV, THHI, and FESGprogram standards
Responsible for budgeting and reporting for the RRH Program in collaboration with the Director of Outreach Services
Reviews, edits, and submits suggested forms and policy revisions for the RRH program to the Director
Provides supportive counseling, service management, advocacy, and crisis intervention for all approved rapid re-housing participants
Meets with participants on a regular basis for service management
Assists with the interview process and intake process for potential and new Rapid Re-Housing participants
Establishes and maintains relationships with homeowners, property managers, and agencies providing housing resources
Works with participants to secure safe and stable housing
Assists participants with working on educational and employment goals when necessary in support of housing stability
Manages all aspects of assigned cases and acts as focal point with primary responsibility for services rendered to those participants
Provide ongoing safety planning with participants
Reviews service plans with participants on a regular basis
Refers participants to community resources and other organizations based on the participant's needs
Maintains participant files and ensures data is entered into the agency software system immediately after all participant contact
Maintains written records required for statistical reporting and programmatic objectives
Prepares and provides statistical information monthly
Documentation for service notes will meet FCADV, THHI, and FESG program standards
Prepare records and adhere to funder monitoring requests and requirements
Adheres to confidentiality requirements
Attends ongoing case conference meetings
