IT Concepts Quality Manager (Cleared) in Tampa, Florida

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. ITC will provide the Government with program management and services related to emerging technology solutions including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science, application development and management support, training, and enterprise ecosystem support.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain quality assurance protocols, testing procedures, and performance standards that align with DoD regulations and project requirements.
Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Oversee the execution of quality tests, such as functional, performance, and security testing, on DoD projects, and ensure that any defects or issues are identified and addressed promptly.
Monitors and audits processes, deliverables, and reviews against established standards conducting a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations.
Identifies deficiencies or gaps in quality assurance activities and develops solutions to ensure adequate and robust quality processes.
Lead the QA team, ensuring effective collaboration with engineering, development, and project management teams to address quality-related issues and implement improvements.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, test results, and process improvements, and present findings to DoD leadership or project stakeholders.
Optimizes processes to comply with existing and new requirements.
Location: On-site in Tampa, FL
Requirements
Junior level: 0-3 years relevant experience and a BA/BS degree,
Journeyman level: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience
Senior level: 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree.
Substitutions for education:
Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree
6 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
12 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree
Preferred Skills:
In-depth understanding of DoD-specific quality regulations, standards (e.g., MIL-STD, ISO 9001), and acquisition processes.
Proficiency in various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, performance, security testing) and quality control techniques, including statistical analysis and root cause analysis.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead a QA team, manage schedules, and coordinate quality efforts across multiple departments.
Ability to analyze quality metrics, interpret test data, and generate meaningful reports that inform decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own.
Ability to work fully on-site with minimal accommodation
Clearance Requirements:
Must have at a minimum active DOD Top Secret.
US Citizen residing in Tampa, FL area.
