Robert Half Product Information Specialist II in Tampa, Florida
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Product Information Specialist II in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, located in Hanover, Maryland. In your role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to businesses and individuals, demonstrating the benefits of our products, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Promoting and selling our products or services in a way that aligns with the needs and interests of the customer
• Demonstrating products and explaining their features to both regular and prospective customers to solicit orders
• Estimating or quoting prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates to customers
• Providing customers with product samples and catalogs to aid in their purchasing decisions
• Using your strong verbal and written communication skills to negotiate deals and manage customer service inquiries
• Utilizing your basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services effectively
• Working independently to manage your time and responsibilities
• Leveraging your interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Keeping abreast of the latest trends in the market to ensure our products remain competitive and appealing to customers
• Applying your experience in marketing or equivalent training to drive sales and support our business growth. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required. 2-4 years experience required.
Proficient in Customer Service and Sales operations
Familiar with Office Functions and Marketing strategies
Experience in Training staff and managing time effectively
Understanding of Pricing and Benefit Functions in the pharmaceutical industry
Skilled in using Spreadsheets for data analysis and management
Knowledge of Credit management and Negotiation tactics
Familiarity with various Sales Methods and Selling techniques
Excellent Interpersonal Skills for team collaboration and client interaction
Understanding of basic business and pharmaceutical Principles
Experience in Cold Calling for lead generation
Proficient Written Communication skills for reporting and correspondence
Knowledge of A Plus software is an added advantage
Experience in Prospecting potential clients and markets
• Knowledge about Vaccines and other pharmaceutical products
• Ability to provide accurate Quotes and understand Contract Terms
• Proven record in Reducing Costs and improving efficiency in operations.
