JPMorgan Chase Legal - Project Manager II - Assistant Vice President in Tampa, Florida

This Legal team supports exciting innovations to provide better customer experiences. Through collaboration with many colleagues, they advise on matters that have impact across consumer and small business. This team likes to have fun while wrangling the issues of the day.

As a Project Manager Assistant Vice President in the Legal Department's Consumer & Community Bank/International Consumer Bank division, you will manage multiple projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with lawyers, control partners, and business leaders to coordinate and implement the objectives of each project. You will distill complex processes and project concepts into digestible and understandable tracking components leveraging Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools. You will support the continuous improvement effort of the Project Management Office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leverage an organized approach to ensure deliverables associated with the projects are closely tracked, monitored, and managed throughout the lifecycle of the project, and to meet business, regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements

  • Employ practices to support timely actions on project tasks, including status reporting, budget, and resource demands

  • Prepare executive presentations and documentation to support the lifecycle of a project, including kickoffs, status updates, and closure

  • Use and promote effective use of firm designated tools and processes, including the Microsoft Office Suite and iManage

  • Manage meetings associated with the project

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, Skills

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in a legal department setting

  • At least 3+ years project management experience

  • Works effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders through collaboration, creativity, and practicality

  • Displays strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills using a high degree of initiative and self-direction

  • A proven record of successfully handling multiple projects and supporting multiple executive sponsors in a fast-paced, high-profile, and rapidly-evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, Skills

  • Knowledge of financial services laws and regulations

  • Experience with agile practices

  • Project Management Professional certified or Certified Associate in Project Management

  • The preferred locations are Columbus, OH or Tampa, FL
