Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitters
Ultimate LLC is urgently seeking to hire experienced Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Fitters for full time work in Tampa, FL . The pay range for this position is $24-$30 per hour based on experience.
Ultimate Journeymen Fire Sprinkler Fitter Job Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, in order to install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Installation of new, retrofits, and tenant improvement type projects.
Cut, thread, and groove pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws and pipe threaders.
Work and coordinate with various contractors and trades to resolve coordination conflicts in the field.
Ability to manage job scheduling and job progress in an efficient and cost-effective manner, with a strong focus on quality.
Provide support, guidance, and expertise to the other field installers and helpers.
Knowledge of fire industry.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Perform New Installations
Retrofit and Repair Fire Sprinkler Systems
Attach Pipes to Walls, Structures, and Fixtures such as Radiators or Tanks Using Brackets, Clamps, Tools, or Welding Equipment
Cut and Bore Holes in Structures such as Bulkheads, Decks, Walls, and Mains Prior to Pipe Installation using Hand and Power Tools
Cut, Thread, and Hammer Pipe to Specifications using Tools such as Saws, Cutting Torches, and Pipe Threaders and Benders

18+ Years of age
3+ years of pipefitting experience
Valid license
Ability to lift 50+ pounds when necessary

Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)
