Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in business risk or issue management.
Advanced knowledge of Issues Management.
Understanding of Control Standards, compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging.
Able to work efficiently, self-train and jump in quickly to help with team's BAU activities.
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor's/University degree.
Master's degree.
What You Will Be Doing
Assist with Compliance Issues Management programs, policies and practices.
Work with management on governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Issues Management Program.
Help with quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Global Issues Management Policy, Standard, Procedure, along with the Issues Management Procedure and other internal processes.
Conduct deep dives and analysis across the issues management space.
Ensure the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommend holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies.
Support management in the review and challenge process, within the FLUs, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards, including implementation and operation, conducting the control monitoring, handling deficiencies, and escalating issues for resolution.
Ensure adequate governance and training are in place to support the Issues Management program.
Take ownership to ensure that issues management responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded within each area across the business unit, including providing training and leading by example.
