Citigroup HR Project Manager in Tampa, Florida

The HR Project Manager is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

The Process and Program Design team is a group of professional Program and Process Managers within HR Workforce Intelligence Talent Acquisition division, Strategy Solutions Delivery team. Our primary responsibility is to provide Program and Process Management execution leadership to drive implementation strategy and delivery of strategic Initiatives, Programs and Projects; including management of resources, execution delivery, partnership with stakeholder groups including Global Functions Technology (GFT) and the Business Execution team.

As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are focused on close collaboration with senior management and various stakeholder groups across HR and Technology divisions to establish strong program foundations and drive the execution of regulatory and business driven initiatives.

This person will have the opportunity to work on our Global Recruitment Ecosystem, comprised of marketing connectivity, assessments, workday recruitment, interviewing and offer integrations, and much more. The maintenance and optimization of this ecosystem touches millions of annual applicants and hundreds of internal stakeholders across the globe. The team is currently focused on evaluating system functionality and operational structures, along with new implementations and our existing workday footprint.

As a HR Project Manager you will:

  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs.

  • Assists with business case, review business requirements, gap analysis, feasibility study in long term benefit, requirement, and solution review with stakeholders.

  • Finalizes the project plan with stakeholders and track closely for successful project delivery.

  • Implements advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements.

  • Meets with end users to understand business needs, write requirements, conduct walk throughs on requirement documents and obtain Project Sponsor, Product and Operations approvals.

  • Reviews Functional Requirements to Business Requirements to ensure Technology has understood and met the end users’ needs/expectations.

  • Prioritizes requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.

  • Partners with Technology, Product and Operations Management Teams to prioritize delivery of key projects.

  • Masters strategic business process modeling, traceability and quality management techniques.

  • Applies best practices for effective communication and problem-solving.

  • Successfully compete for the most sought-after business analyst jobs.

  • Leads team of business analysts and testers to achieve on-time and with-quality production delivery dates for system enhancements for multiple projects.

  • Collaborates with Technology on any project delays, risk assessment and risk mitigation plans.

  • Performs project Status reporting to Project Stakeholders, Product and Operations Partners.

  • Prepare Post project MIS, lessons learned and conduct continuous process improvement reviews.

  • Understand the bank environment and compliance and regulatory requirements.

  • Work with regional and global team and implement the best standards across teams.

  • Ensure creation of program plan and charter benefits management plan, stakeholder management plan, acceptance plan, and central program issue log.

  • Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Lead the implementation of medium complex projects end to end with multiple systems and countries involved from a Global perspective.

  • Develop in coordination with Program Manager and relevant stakeholders detailed project plans, schedules, task lists, risk registers and clear short and long-term approaches to achieve project objectives.

  • Monitor and track delivery of activity against milestones, including managing dependencies across related projects.

  • Provide credible challenge to the project’s members on their plans, delivery, and documentation.

  • Support the preparation of executive / management level reporting.

  • Support the facilitation of regular senior governance meetings.

  • Contribute to the effort to deploy global process / system strategy.

  • Provide support to internal and external audits related to controls, governance, and integration points.

  • Establish and build partnerships across functions, interacting with HR Cluster / Country senior HR, O&T management with support from direct manager.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of prior relevant work experience, preferably within the Banking industry and HR experience in Projects roles (3+ years), either as a Project Manager or Business Analyst

  • Multiple years of working in a multi-cultural environment delivering results with virtual teams

  • Good presentation and communication skills

  • Experience and ease in interfacing with different stakeholder groups (including Technology Teams, Internal Audit, Senior Management, etc.)

  • PMP or other Project Management certification a plus

  • Knowledge and experience of HR Talent processes end to end and systems a plus

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
