Government Operations Consultant II - Partnerships & Prevention team – Community Partners Network

The position will be in the Tampa service center.

Salary to be determined, based on experience, minimum $40,739.82 to maximum $55,677.

The Partner Consultant is responsible for recruiting and managing the ESS Partners Network and assisting with recruiting Hope Florida Care Partners in their Region. They will communicate with internal and external stakeholders to determine the needs of their community and locate partners to assist with the gaps in services.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or 4 years of experience in social services.

  • At least one year of experience working for the Florida Department of Children and Families ESS program as an ESSl or higher.

  • At least one year of experience in building and sustaining working relationships with community organizations; coalitions; faith-based organizations or Governmental agencies.

  • Ability to travel, throughout the Region to perform the job duties.

    Preferred requirements:

  • At least one year of experience conducting gap analysis.

  • At least one year of experience working in the Hope Florida program.

    Successful completion of background screening will be required for this position.

    The incumbent will represent the Department at meetings and conferences as requested. They will work to guide content for communication materials and will establish events to encourage stakeholder engagement and policy briefs to guide discussion regarding program initiatives. Serves as a Hope Florida program representative to the community, including, but not limited to, attending meetings and conferences, and forming partnerships to address department priorities. 

  • Create external communication tools, such as Spotlights, posters, and other messaging, to be distributed to partners and external stakeholders.

  • Develops and directs external communications and marketing strategy to maximize the Department’s strategy in building critical stakeholder relationships and partnerships.

  • Format and edit documents, publications, and presentations for program office.

  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to provide guidance on ESS and Hope Florida programs, policies, projects, and overall assistance with navigating state resources. 

  • Performs and coordinates research on special projects and develops supporting data and materials for use by the Partnerships and Prevention unit, Director and Assistant Secretary in meetings and public speaking engagements.

  • Develops and maintains a system for inter and intra program information dissemination and documentation control for all program offices to ensure that planning is based upon the most current information available.

  • Works independently to plan, organize, and coordinate tasks, travel events, stakeholder meetings and develop statewide strategies.

  • Responsible for receiving inquiries from the public and agency partners, fulfilling requests for statements and data through collaboration with subject matter experts to correctly represent the policy and objective of the ESS program.
