As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper specializing in construction, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all bookkeeping functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing valuable financial insights to support our business decisions. This role prefers a detail-oriented professional with experience in the construction industry.

salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.

• Oversee job costing, budgeting, and project financial tracking to ensure accurate project cost management.

• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and prepare necessary financial reports.

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.

• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.

• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction accounting.
