Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst
Location: Tampa, FL
Responsibilities
Providing fiscal data for the annual budget preparation.
Managing accounts for projects and preparing documentation for audits.
Handling month-end responsibilities, including actual analysis, budget preparation, amendments, and journal entries, ensuring correct coding and descriptions.
Conducting year-end responsibilities, such as fund analysis, setting up receivables, analyzing and adjusting indirect costs, and performing variance analysis.
Coordinating and collaborating with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, which will contribute to building internal relationships and forecasting program needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or related field.
Multiple years of experience in financial reporting.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with state reporting (preferred but not required; individuals from corporate backgrounds are also welcome).
Supervisory experience (will supervise one employee).
