The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the look, feel, and function of WellMed, Optum and USMD. Directly supervises Facilities staff to include Facilities Coordinators in assigned markets. Ensures documentation and provides reporting from computer-based maintenance management system (CMMS) such as ServiceNow.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees assigned Market Facilities Coordinators

  • Direct supervision of Facilities staff. Monitors hours actually worked, approves time sheets/requests for time off, and maintains necessary records

  • Works directly with the Facilities Service Desk and Facilities Maintenance teams to prioritize, schedule, assign, and monitor facilities work orders assigned to Facilities Maintenance

  • Develops market site visit schedules for buildings and other Facilities assets

  • Provides/facilitates development of Facilities staff to include skills and safety training

  • Provides excellent customer services and trains staff to deliver excellent customer service

  • Acts as a subject matter expert for Facilities operations

  • Works with other Facilities Management teams to coordinate Vendor Management

  • Engages with other Facilities teams on special projects that need Facilities Coordinator support

  • Identifies and assists with Facilities process improvement initiatives

  • Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner

  • Monitors and assists team with conflict resolution on escalated issues between enterprise and/or vendors

  • Monitors Facilities fleet vehicle safety standards are being met

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan work, accomplish goals, and make decisions

  • Requests assistance from Sr. Management when needed

  • Provides back up support to Facilities Manager peers

  • Performs staff tasks as needed for coverage

  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in facilities maintenance

  • 4+ years of supervisory and/or management experience

  • Ability to travel to remote sites as needed

  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Facility Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facilities Management (CFM) Certification

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment
