Citigroup Engineering Lead Analyst in Tampa, Florida

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineering Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software. Use Java and JEE to develop multi-tiered web-based applications. Perform requirement study to identify needs of business users, perform feasibility study, and conduct system wide impact analysis. Develop design documents and architecturally significant components based on user needs with improved performance and stability. Use Spring framework, Springboot, Microservices Architecture, Spark with Java, JPA, Hibernate, and Mybatis to create high performing, reliable web and standalone batch applications, build data transformation, process ORM frameworks, and to store and retrieve data effectively from databases. Design and architect application’s complete base structure with interface systems when required to connect to external systems to read or write data. Use Angular and ExtJs to develop prototype of User Interface (UI), Service layer, or standalone module for new project or module development. Use WSDL, REST, Tomcat and Websphere to develop system with service based architecture and deploy service oriented applications. Create product breakdown structure and compile milestone plan for project phase to achieve project goals. Use Oracle SQL and PLSQL to store and fetch application specific data to and from tables by sending and retrieving block of statements. Write heavy logics and transactions in stored procedure and functions. Deploy and promote code to various environments. Hold System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) calls. Liaise with quality assurance teams. Conduct periodic code reviews and security audits to identify areas of improvement and adherence to best practices and coding standards. Develop and enhance system in line with approved design with improved software security and quality. Optimize existing systems, refine and tune integrations between applications to reduce operating costs and improved performance. Implement automated unit test framework and conduct unit testing. Provide high-level design artifacts. Use JMS, JSON, XML for messaging between processing layer and system. Review low-level design, data model, workflow, and service- and message-oriented approach in application integration. Conduct research on new products and adopt new technologies where appropriate to solve business problems. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent), in Applied Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineering Lead Analyst, Software Engineer, Senior Specialist – Software Engineering, or related position involving software development for the financial services industry. 5 years of experience must include: Java/JEE; Spring framework, Springboot, Micorservice Architecture, Spark with Java, JPA, Hibernate, MyBatis and BPM for workflow management; Oracle SQL and PLSQL; Web Services (WSDL and REST), and Middleware (Tomcat and WebSphere) and Cloud Containerization (ECS) and CICD tools; Angular and ExtJS; JMS, JSON, XML.
