Centene Corporation Director, Broker Commissions in Tampa, Florida

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the design and administration of broker sales plans and policies. Manages the execution of all broker sales incentive plans which includes plan management, documentation, monthly/weekly processing, reporting and systems management, and payment validation strategies. Align staffing with the needs of the business and develop proactive policies and procedures to ensure compensation accuracy and timeliness.

  • Manages the execution of monthly/weekly commission payments.

  • Partners with senior management to define and develop the sales incentive compensation strategy and vision for the organization.

  • Leads the design effort for new plans, promotions & policies and processes each fiscal year (or as needed) that supports short and long term business objectives.

  • Consolidates and produces compensation metrics that assist in understanding the effectiveness of the incentive plans and policies.

  • Communicates new/updated plans, policies and processes to the Sales organization.

  • Development of the compensation team to ensure greater business and technical knowledge

  • Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all commission payments

  • Puts proactive audit and validation points in place to ensure accuracy of compensation

  • Develops proper documentation and redundancy to ensure the continuity of payments

  • Responsible for multiple levels of management and the development of people leaders

  • Ensure proper communication and coordination between Centene and our compensation vendor

  • Lead the implementation of new compensation systems periodically in order to stay current in the marketplace.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in a Finance/Accounting/Analytics/Economics or a related field required. Master’s Degree (MBA or similar) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing and executing incentive compensation plans. Minimum of 3 year of management experience. Direct experience with Callidus, Evolve, SQL, and Excel preferred. Experience leading the implementation of new compensation systems preferred.
