Summary:

Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

• Required - 18 months RN Acute Care/Interventional/Procedural; Preferred - Cath Lab Admissions & Recovery experience; Preferred - Charge Nurse or Team Lead RN experience

Education:

• Required - BSN or BS Healthcare related field or if no Bachelor's, an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved BayCare Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid.

Credentials:

• Required - BLS; Required - RN License; Required - ACLS; Required - Nurse Specialty Certification if no Bachelor's obtained

Location: St Joseph's Hospital - Main Campus/Downtown Tampa

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
