SMX is seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Specialist to join our team to provide administrative support to the MARLINS Program Management Office. You will join a team of highly driven, supportive, and skilled professionals to provide project support with a focus on deliverable management. Additional administrative duties will be performed as well. This position will report to the MARLINS Business Operations Manager.

Essential Duties & Respo nsibilities

• Update deliverables tracker, upload deliverables to Microsoft Teams folders and SharePoint site

• Assist in quality reviews of weekly PowerPoint slides provided to the government customer

• Assist in production of weekly report provided to all MARLINS stakeholders

• Prepare Monthly Status Report and Technical Status Meeting PowerPoint slides for Project Managers’ input; assist with quality reviews

• Assist with PowerPoint slides presented to the Award Fee Evaluation Board every six months

• Monitor/manage common inboxes for tasking to project teams

• Develop/manage MARLINS specific workflows, processes, and lessons learned

• Develop/manage workflows related to management portals/SharePoint sites

• Perform other administrative duties as required

Required Skills & Experience

• Exceptionally detail oriented and proactive

• Excellent skills reviewing and editing documentation

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple tasks

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with defense contracts

• 6 years of project support in a fast-paced environment
