Robert Half Bookkeeper/Office Manager in Tampa, Florida

Description

The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable, reconciliation, month-end closing, and accounts receivable. As well, the Bookkeeper will stay on top of a general ledger reconciliation, perform data entry, light journal entries, cash applications, and full cycle A/P coding. Interested? Apply today!

Your responsibilities

  • Sustain Accounts Payable

  • Aid with monthly accounting close

  • Oversee monthly accounting close

  • Arrange subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Sort sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Manage Accounts Receivable

  • Other distinguished projects when necessary

    Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

    • Significant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

  • Strong organization skills

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

    • 3+ years of Bookkeeper/Office Manager experience
