The AD Integrations, Divestitures, and Restructuring (IDR) is accountable for all merger, acquisition, and divestiture (M&AD) activities globally within the People Services (PS) domain. This role covers the entire lifecycle of these activities, from providing critical insights during the deal phase to coordinating and executing implementation, focusing on business continuity and superior employee experience.

The AD Integrations, Divestitures, and Restructures (IDR) actively contributes towards building internal PS integration capabilities and ensures execution of end-to-end processes, practices, and tools in support of the enterprise M&A strategy.

Additionally, this role is accountable within PS for the transition of employees affected by M&AD initiatives or any BMS-initiated departures due to organizational restructuring.

Key Responsibilities

This role will play the leading role in all People Services activities from due diligence to integration and hypercare in M&AD transactions as well as various restructurings. The key responsibilities for the role will be:

  • Represent the global PS organization in HR and enterprise-wide M&AD initiatives from due diligence to hypercare. Articulate functional area insights and make decisions aligned with PS's operating model.

  • Lead the PS due diligence process by gathering all necessary information on a global basis to enable informed decision-making.

  • Sign off on PS integration readiness globally at the go-live date.

  • Manage an agile team of PS functional stakeholders. Lead meetings with PS functional stakeholders to inform and escalate potential concerns to relevant external stakeholders, PS Leadership Team, or HR Leadership Team.

  • Oversee the contributions of the workforce transition team in processing employee exits due to M&AD deals or other BMS-initiated departures in connection with BMS restructurings, handling and organizing timelines, and supporting the team in executing the process internally and/or with outside stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with HRIT, HRBP, Finance, and Legal teams. Understand the impact of external stakeholders' decisions on PS areas and respectfully influence stakeholders' decisions if warranted.

  • Develop and adjust timelines for the PS area, identifying potential issues and opportunities to improve implementation. Initiate and oversee the execution of improvements.

  • Monitor and analyze transitioning employee trends via ServiceNow, offering feedback to the larger team and identifying opportunities for communication and future improvements. Enhance the overall employee experience.

  • Manage the PS Integration budget (budgeting, approvals, cost tracking) and formulate a model to proactively estimate financial needs for future integrations and restructuring measures.

  • In a restructuring context, ensure global compliance with regulatory requirements and applicable laws in regions where impacted employees or the business are located for restructuring measures.

  • Proactively initiate and drive automation initiatives in your area of responsibility.

  • Develop and maintain operational project, status and cost update dashboards. Own and update relevant integration and restructuring playbooks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-7 years of comprehensive HR experience with MA&D related experience. Significant expertise in US-based activities. Global experience, whether as a US-based global associate or in an international location, is a distinct advantage.

  • Strong partner and collaborator with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Leadership and people management experience with a functional team.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in creating and managing timelines.

  • Solid business strategy mindset with the agility to adapt to a dynamic environment.

  • Strong Program management skills

  • Financial modeling skills & business acumen

  • Good knowledge of HR practices globally

  • Good understanding of HR systems

  • Proven ability to navigate and make an impact within a matrixed, multicultural organization under various business contexts and circumstances.

  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation. Capable of managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop meaningful and trusted relationships with all levels of the organization and manage stakeholders within a highly matrixed organization; work across cross-functional, cross-organizational teams (including outsource providers and contractors, as necessary) and effectively communicate ideas and influence stakeholders to accomplish goals and objectives.

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
