We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S/4HANA Consultant to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, on-site, and is a contract position, renewed annually.

What You'll Do
Perform SAP BASIS Administration support for DOR Projects
BASIS support for the CRM, ECC, BW, Portal, Fiori, and Business Objects applications that are used. This includes, but not limited to, performance monitoring and tuning, transport migration, system and client copies, system upgrades and patching, and problem support
Provide MS SQL server and HANA Database support for DOR Project
Provide Azure Cloud administration support where needed
Responsible for patching and upgrading as well as monitoring and tuning the database
Support migration of SAP to S/4HANA and BW/4HANA
Uses SQL server log shipping and HANA replication to a paired region as its Disaster Recovery procedure
The backups of the SAP systems are performed by DOR Rubrix team, but the SAP Administrator is responsible for the backup scripts and configuration on the server
Provide after-hours support and provide other related Basis duties as needed
What You'll Need
Over seven years of Hands on-experience in SAP HANA Basis admin tasks such as Designing &Implementing Landscape and Infrastructure, Client Strategy, Capacity Planning (Sizing), Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy, Storage systems, SAP Upgrades, OS/DB Migration, and other Basis Administration
Hands on experience in SAP HANA administration including Architecture Design, Capacity Planning (Sizing), Installations, Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy, Storage systems, HANA revision upgrades
Hands on experience in handling & supporting Basis tasks for S/4 HANA conversion, Implementation, and data migration
Experience with managing SAP landscapes on Azure Cloud
Experience with administering and configure Cloud services in BTP
Experience with High-Availability (HA) setup and configuration of Hana database
Hands on experience in using SUM DMO procedure with focus on downtime optimization
Well versed with SLT and SAP Fiori Administration
Install, configure, maintain, and support multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools
Experience with creation and evolution of the SAP technology roadmap that defines current technical architectures, future architectures, and the evolution for transition for all projects
Experience in performance tuning of SAP applications
Well versed with the entire SAP business suite & S/4
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in general and SAP Enterprise Services Architecture in particular
Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing
Ability to write and maintain technical documentation
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to map business processes to technology — particularly SAP technology
Knowledge of Linux OS for SAP HANA
Knowledge of Web Services standards (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, REST, WS-l, WSIL, XSD etc.)
Knowledge of SAP IT Practices I IT Scenarios and how to map those to the Department’s business processes
Knowledge of Portal content design (Roles, iViews, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Experience:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA administration and BW/4HANA
Experience with certification in Azure, GCP, and other cloud options
S/4 HANA Administration certification is preferred
Experience with SAP/HANA/S4 HANA migrations
Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and how ITIL maps to SAP solutions
General knowledge of the SAP solutions for Knowledge Management and Collaboration (KM, Content Server etc.)
Knowledge of Linux on SAP HANA databases
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or other technology related field or, equivalent work experience of one (1) year system’s experience for each year of education required up to 2 years maximum
