Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator with an active Secret clearance to be responsible for the support of systems and the relational database management systems (RDBMS) to store, secure, index, and facilitate retrieval of federal client's data. This position will be located in Sterling, VA and will be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

Systems and database administrator responsible for support of systems and the relational database management systems (RDBMS) to store, secure, index, and facilitate retrieval of federal client's data.

• Manages various servers and custom applications (including deployment to production) and systems that are mission critical that utilize the RDBMS as their data source.

• Maintain and enhance database performance, security, and integrity.

• Monitor data backups, storage, growth, and usage.

• Respond to trouble tickets.

• Manage patches, fixes, and upgrades to maintain currency per federal client standards.

Qualifications

• High School with 10+ years systems administration(or commensurate experience)

• Secret clearance with ability to obtain/hold DEA suitability

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $102,000.00 - USD $17,329,000.00 /Yr.
