Humana Senior Technology Leadership Professional in Tallahassee, Florida
Humana IT's Quality, Automation, and Modernization (QAM) area is looking for a passionate process-oriented IT person who loves to solve customer problems! In this role, you'll advocate for the voice of developers and engineering teams at Humana as we create a simple, clear, automated, and more cohesive delivery process. You'll work as part of a team of passionate experts to drive solutions to known pain points and identify new process improvement opportunities for all of IT.
The Senior Technology Leadership Professional serves as an advocate for engineering teams at Humana. Collaborates closely with engineering teams and other shared services to define and implement standards and best practices to improve our technology framework, SDLC, and related delivery process. Partners closely with colleagues on an Agile team to organize and create repeatable processes, documentation, and approaches. Demonstrates subject matter expertise about technical topics, developer pain points, and developer needs so that we can implement processes, tools, and standards that will supercharge our developers' job satisfaction across all of IT. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement and identifies indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to determine root cause of problems and implement solutions. Proactively shares insights and suggestions with leadership and begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
5 or more years of technical experience
Familiarity of modern programming techniques
Process-oriented problem solving experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving experiences
Six Sigma or Lean Certified
Experience with Java or .NET
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile certifications
Design Thinking or other customer-centric training and/or experience
This role is remote
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
