ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a potential Senior C# Developer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of professionals in support of a client in the Tallahassee, FL area. This potential role has the opportunity to be a contract for a state-wide implementation effort. Join us and be part of our mission to make a difference!

SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable C# modules within our provided framework using WPF and Avalonia.

  • Utilize the Community Toolkit to enhance application functionality and improve development efficiency.

  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities and ensure seamless communication between client and server.

  • Implement and maintain the MVVM pattern to ensure clean separation of concerns and enhance application maintainability.

  • Conduct thorough testing of modules, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to promote best practices and ensure code quality.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process and suggest innovative solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in C# development.

  • Strong expertise in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and Avalonia frameworks.

  • Proficiency in using the Community Toolkit for enhancing application features.

  • Extensive experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

  • In-depth knowledge of the MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) design pattern.

  • Experience with testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with other front-end frameworks and technologies, such as Xamarin or .NET MAUI.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as Azure or AWS.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
