Who we need:

Manages program to ensure efficiencies, deliverables, quality management, and assigned contract functions are performed to the highest standards to strengthen the relationships with customers and meet contract requirements. Responsible for completing medical reviews onsite, within homes in the state of Florida.

What you’ll do:

  • Effectively leads program through objectives and goals assigned for contract compliance. Monitors metrics and daily operations to ensure success.

  • Collaborates with program staff, contracting reviewers, physicians, management teams, and corporate support teams to improve processes, determine training needs and improvement opportunities.

  • Assesses all systems, including contract, policy and procedure, workflow, etc., continually to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to all stakeholders.

  • Collaborates with management team to create an organizational structure that will ensure effective processes and work designs.

  • Assists in completing onsite medical reviews and assesses for efficiencies and program improvements.

  • Ability to provide supervision to staff and contractors that ensures excellent customer satisfaction.

  • Provide ongoing monitoring and supervision to meet contract deliverables for all operations.

  • Provides leadership and supervision to staff assigned to the program, including quality, reviews, provider training/education, consumer training/education, data collection, analysis and reporting and technical assistance, to ensure compliance with contractual standards.

  • Assure all licensed employees and subcontractors who will have direct contact with Medicaid recipients meet the employment screening requirements specified in Chapter 435, F.S., and Chapter 393, F.S.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active Florida RN License

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations and management; Healthcare experience strongly desired.

  • Knowledge of 42 C.F.R. Part 456, Subpart F; Chapters 393,400,409, F.S., 59G-4, F.A.C.; and Florida Medicaid Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Disabilities Services Coverage Policy, AHCA, July 2016, which is incorporated into 59G-4.170, F.A.C.

  • Knowledge of best practice in healthcare operations.

  • Knowledge of government policy and structure.

  • Knowledge of metrics, productivity measures and reporting.

  • Knowledge of regulatory agency compliance.

  • Knowledge of contract development and implementation.

  • Budget and financial skills.

  • Aptitude for systems planning and prioritization of tasks

  • Competent communication skills (written and verbal and listening); uses appropriate interpersonal skills with variety of stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of psychiatric disorders as defined by the most current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual in use.

  • Knowledge of standards of practice related to determination of Level of Care.
