Job Description

Danfoss in Tallahassee, FL is searching for a R&D Engineering Intern. The intern will assist in development tools for test database (MS SQL, MySQL…etc) operation automation, test data processing, report automation, history test files organize and linked to different SQL database. The intern will also assist with necessary software coding in various languages and environments(C++, Python, Matlab, Labview).

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Creating/enhancing internal software tools.

• Create software tools for

• Test data standardization.

• automated processing of test data with graphical reports.

• Assist with creating standardized test procedure documents.

• Assist with implementing test platform enhancements.

• Assist with expanding and maintaining a version control system(git).

• Assist with department’s general software requirements.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science (Junior and above preferred)

• Working knowledge on C++, Python, GIT, SQL

• Well organized and detail-oriented

• MS Office suite experience

• Strong communication skills

• A solid track record of performance

• An ongoing desire to learn and seek out new information
