GT Technologies Machine Operator in Tallahassee, Florida
This position is responsible for basic production of automotive valvetrain components working with machinery and hand tools.
Operates/maintains machines in the assembly area.
Makes adjustments on a variety of production machines, such as testing or assembly equipment.
Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced.
Reads blueprints and uses fixed gages.
Finished and scrap material tagging, location and disposition.
Identify physical damage to body surfaces.
Identify scrap and prevention.
Read/comprehend and follow all safety instructions and procedures.
Report all safety incidents, violations and/or occurrences to your leader and supervisor.
Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds continuously.
Read and interpret gages.
Add and subtract whole numbers.
Must be able to interpret screen data for rejects, station status, etc.
Ability to recover from minor faults
Housekeeping and 6S responsibilities
Tagging and disposition of all finished product and scrap
Manufacturing/assembly line experience is a plus.
Must be able to work 3rd shift (10:30pm - 6:30am) Monday - Friday; with weekends as requried.
