ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a potential Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals in support of a client in the Tallahassee, FL area. This potential role will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating software development and system modernization activities in a state-wide implementation effort. SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide project support and oversight of State government software development efforts.
Monitor Scrum teams to ensure software development projects are executed properly.
Provide oversight of software development activities related to enhancements and maintenance of enterprise software and make recommendations for improvement.
Prepare and deliver reports and presentations related to the project and findings to client leadership.
Provide insight on key Agile Discovery, Sprint, and Release activities.
Monitor projects for risks and issues and report those to the client.
Support and contribute to written weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.
Apply advanced thinking to problems with encouragement and support.
Proactively conduct research into identified and potential client problems.
Conduct deep review of vendor deliverables for the assigned functional scope area for completeness and correctness.
Conduct risk assessments to help the client resolve technical issues and/or discrepancies with existing policies and procedures.
Engage in team’s strategic discussions.
Support the client and stakeholders in achieving project success.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area. A minimum of eight (8) years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a large and complex software development environment.
Preferred previous experience with hands on software development and/or testing.
Minimum three (3) years working in an Agile SDLC environment (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Software Development, etc.)
Experience with enterprise software transformation, modernization, including migrations and integrations.
Familiar with identifying and applying Information Technologies industry standards and best practices.
Ability to work and meet deadlines independently as well as part of the team.
Strong people and presentation skills
Have strong written and oral presentation skills and be able to present ideas in a simple way.
Experience providing consulting or advisory services to a government client or agency.
Experience in Independent Verification and Validation consulting.
Preference will be given to those in or around Tallahassee, FL.
Experience with all phases of the IT Disaster Management Cycle.
Familiar with challenges associated with Cloud environments, governance, and compliance.

Compensation / Salary Range: Greentree adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The following salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.
Salary Range: $80,000 to $140,000
Bonuses: Greentree has an employee referral bonus, as well as employee bonuses based on employee contributions and Greentree’s yearly performance.
