Computer Programmer Analyst II

(Budget Analyst)

Pay range starting at: $40,351.50

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee works directly for the Division of Technology and Innovation (DTI) budget, contract and procurement manager and other division personnel on coordinating and reporting budget related projects and assignments that span all DOE offices. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • DTI Spend Plans.

  • Working Capital Trust Fund Cost Recovery Plan.

  • Other DTI managed cost allocation plans.

  • Assist the DTI contract management team with background clearance for DTI contractors.

  • Monitor contracts and procurement inbox and assist with requests for quotes for IT commodities.

  • Other assigned duties.

The employee works directly with information technology budget issues, procurement and financial reporting. The employee has access to data and information which shall be used for business purposes only. Confidentiality of this information will be maintained at all times.

Perform other duties as required or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

At least two years of state administrative experience.

PREFERRED:

Two years experience in budget/finance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: Including utilization of equipment, required for the position:

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff;

Organizational accountability skills and abilities,

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;

Ability to read and analyze legislation budget impacts; and

Microsoft Excel skills.

Background Screening Requirements:
