Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 1 year of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages: C/C++, Python, Java, Go or Rust.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

• Experience in API, database schema design, back-end service or information retrieval.

• Experience in application development on UNIX/Linux, library development, networking.

• Experience in operating system services, system programming, Linux kernel, or device drivers.

• Experience in embedded systems, firmware or chipset bring-up.

• Ability to learn new technical stack and solving cross-boundary challenges.

• Work as part of ChromeOS Platform and Device Enablement team including building software, and resolving technical challenges for the next generation of ChromeOS products.

• Participate in design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance new products, ecosystem, and features.

• Work with device enablement teams focused on the platform side, kernel, firmware, manufacturing, front-end/backend services, applications, and related technologies.

• Contribute to open source codebases.

• Collaborate with external partners to build better and more efficient ecosystems and resolve technical challenges.
