Our Mechanical Engineering team delivers the development of innovative and compliant mechanical design solutions, as well as cross-functional interfaces for desktop and Notebook computer systems. Our team conducts the feasibility studies and testing of mechanical products, instruments, subassemblies and packaging for new and existing products – and then oversees the introduction of design changes to the manufacturing organizations.

Join us as a Server T hermal Engineer on our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) T hermal and Acoustic Engineering Developmen t team in Taipei to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you’ll achieve

As a Server Thermal Engineer, you will participate server project development and involve the innovative solution design, testing, data analysis, and constructive feedback on project technical discussion. In your first year, you will rotate among Mechanical, Thermal/Acoustic and Shock/Vibration team every 4 months. The program not only extends your engineering knowledge broadly but also builds up your communication skill, teamworking, and networking.

You will:

  • Join to develop thermal solutions for server products through engaging with different stakeholders, such as cross-functional teams, ODMs, and suppliers

  • Analyze testing data and find out the optimized solution

  • Learn to do issue debugging and drive the root cause out

  • Be proactively collaborated with other teams and provide comprehensive deliverables

  • Present your ideas and finding to demonstrate your capability

Essential Requirements

  • Master's degree inMechanical or Thermal Engineeringand expect to graduate between 2024 February to 2025 December

  • Fundamental thermal and electrical cooling knowledge, including CAE/Simulation tool and empirical tests

  • Data analysis and root cause analysis with logical thinking

  • Good Communication and presentation skill

  • Good or Fluent in English communication

  • Highly interested in system thermal design in IT industry.

  • Personality: Optimism, passion, integrity, and hungry to learn
