About the Role
Grocery & Retail (GR) is a fast-growing business within Uber Eats that enables consumers to get just about anything delivered through the Uber Eats app. And GR Taiwan is a strategically important and successful market for UberEats globally.
As a Senior Account Manager, this presents an excellent opportunity to showcase your relationship management and sales expertise by serving as the primary point of contact for our retailing partners.
This role focuses on post-sales of medium-sized businesses, upselling marketing products to grow revenue, maintaining operational quality, and maximizing business retention.
Your Impact:
Manage a portfolio of independent retail partnerships in Taiwan focussing on bringing quality grocery to Uber Eats customers, retention and growing existing accounts
Build strong relationships with decision makers at C-level while managing the day to day business for merchant partners
Acquire new business opportunities within the independent retail and mid-market segment
Support operational processes and help define and scale new processes suitable for independent merchants
Focus on growing accounts by selling strategic Uber services and improving operational performance
The Experience You'll Bring:
6+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success, ideally with enterprise clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
Experience managing multiple accounts and balancing competing priorities.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to offer strategic solutions.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments, such as marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure client success and achieve business objectives.
Ideal Characteristics :
Experience in account management, business development, sales or partner management required
Proven track record in building strong relationships with partners and achieving sales and business objectives
Commercial acumen. Understanding of how businesses and organizations work and how to navigate a partner's business
Hands on problem solver mindset, proactive, creative and flexible
Experience in the grocery and retail segment preferred
Project management and experience with mass account management preferred
Marketing planning experience preferred: Ability to initiate and develop comprehensive media campaigns, including strategy creation, budgeting, media selection, and execution
