WTW Investment Analyst - Reporting in Taguig, Philippines

The Role

As a Senior Investment Analyst in the Manila Investments team, you will be part of a team of enthusiastic professionals. You will build a sound understanding of the client and its reporting needs, while working with a diverse mix of experienced investment professionals from different backgrounds across a wide range of teams and functions. You will:

  • Enhance skills as a reporting specialist, offering technical expertise and support

  • Take on-going ownership of reporting for a variety of large clients and internal uses

  • Enjoy opportunities to broaden skills and knowledge through training, development and project work

  • Initially focus on building a good understanding of report production techniques and underlying concepts, and quickly develop the skill and attention to detail to carry out technical reviews, in order to deliver reporting in line with WTW standards

  • Be a subject matter expert for investment performance reporting

The main duties and responsibilities are:

  • Use appropriate tools to produce/review performance reports for our clients. Reports may include scheme-specifics, stock-level risk analysis, attribution and more

  • Data collation and management; using both our in-house and externally provided database systems

  • Ensure that production of draft reports complies with quality standards (Excellence and audit controls)

  • Supporting ad-hoc administration and project requirements within the Manila Investments team

Excellence and Continuous Improvement

  • Encourage group members to continuously look for ways to innovate and improve on processes

  • Identify continuous improvement initiatives and work with the appropriate teams to implement these

Others: Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

  • Clients – take ownership of reports and build strong relationships with other teams

  • Financial/Business KPIs – accurate and timely submission of time and expense reports; monitor revenue and billed hours

  • People – build strong relationships across various teams and support colleagues to create a good working environment

  • Operational Excellence and Innovation – implement Operational Excellence in all programs and adhere to client, local and international compliance requirements

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance or equivalent; with at least five years of relevant work experience

  • Solid experience in managing projects and clients, and in people management

  • Proven effective oral and written communication skills in business English

  • Ability to work on own initiative when required, as well as in a team

  • Confidence to liaise with people at all levels in a variety of roles, locations and functions

  • Ability to influence peers and superiors especially during times of ambiguity

  • Detail and results orientated, with a logical and analytical method of working

  • Good organisation and time management skill, with a proven ability to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook, and an interest in enhancing these skills

  • Desire to work in the investment industry
