Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper with experience in both business and individual tax returns, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in tax preparation and filing.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of business and individual Federal and State tax returns

• Reviewing financial records, income statements, and expenses

• Calculating and invoicing for tax preparation services

• Staying updated on regulatory rules and changes in tax laws

• Providing high-level customer service and addressing client inquiries

• Maintaining client confidentiality and secure record-keeping

• Analysing financial data and creating reports for management

• Assisting with other bookkeeping activities as required

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or EA preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping

• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting software

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
