Sterile Surgical Systems Laundry Production in Tacoma, Washington
We are recruiting skilled laundry employees to join our team. In this position, you will oversee inspecting and feeding clean linens into folders and ironers. Have a strong attention to detail and a drive to work efficiently. Folding linen to suit customer and company expectations, while meeting the company's piece-per-minute criteria. You will report directly to your floor supervisor, who will coach you through best practices and address any issues in your department. This is the ideal role for anyone who is detail-oriented, appreciates working independently, takes pride in their work, and has flexible availability. To be successful in this role, a laundry worker must be able to perform manual labor in an industrial setting, such as lifting and pulling/pushing linen carts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read and speak English. Communication is vital.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspecting and feeding clean linens into folders and ironers
- Loading and unloading linens in/out of carts
- Folding linen to satisfy customer and company expectations.
- Meeting company standards of pieces per minute
- Sorting out linens that made it into the wrong bin and placing them in their proper container.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes.
Safe use of cleaning chemicals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to stand and walk extended distances throughout shift.
OTHER:
- Must show up on time every day. Attendance and punctuality are critical.
- Must be legally able to work in the United States.
